Linear regression using the example of a calendar function in one line of code

Lecturer: Dr. Mark-Tell Schneider, honorary professor

Date: May 9, 2024, 14:00

Location: JNU, GAMF Faculty, 4/110

This lecture provides insight into the application of linear regression for approximating linear relationships between pairs of values using a straight line. A brief historical overview of our current calendar system will be provided. The presentation will culminate in a demonstration of programming a calendar function with just one line of code.

After studying computer science at the University of Stuttgart, with a special focus on hardware development, Dr. Mark-Tell Schneider has been working at Mercedes-Benz since 1997 in various IT and electronics development positions. In 2009, he took over the management of IT during the construction of the Mercedes factory in Kecskemét, where he is still working.
In 2013, he was awarded the title of Professor honoris causa by the GAMF Faculty of John von Neumann University.

All interested are welcome! Participation in the lecture is free of charge.
