Az előadás tartalmából:

Although blockchain-like technology exists since 1982 its importance grew only in 2008 when a
person (or a group) called Satoshi Nakamoto conceptualized a decentralized blockchain as it is
known today. When a blockchain is mentioned, the first thought to come to mind is Bitcoin
which is a digital currency. This cryptocurrency is transferred by the anonymous sender
through a decentralized network consisting of anonymous node owners to the anonymous
receiver, yet, the network is considered as one of the most reliable networks. Blockchain is a
data structure where each block is linked to the previous one using cryptography methods
that ensure irreversible transactions meaning once recorded. The data inside the block
cannot be altered without the notice on every other block. This structure, built by individuals
with a lot of distrust is ironically one of the most trusted ones.
